Rarely do opportunities arise to find items signed by both Jackie Robinson and Branch Rickey. Branch is known not only from his playing days and Cracker Jack card (featured elsewhere in this auction), but is more renowned for spearheading the effort to allow integration in baseball. His signing of Jackie Robinson ushered in a new era in baseball.

In this featured item, Branch Rickey had his 1949 National League Champion Brooklyn Dodgers sign a birthday card for his daughter. It includes the inscription "From your Pals and your Pop 1949." In includes the signatures of hall of famers Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Pee Wee Reese, Jackie Robinson, and General Manager Branch Rickey. Other notable signatures include those from G. Hodges, C. Furillo, J. Hatten, B. Shotton, D. Newcombe, B. Edwards, S. Jorgensen, M. Rackley, and G. Hermanski.

Beautifully framed and matted, this item comes with a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
