Fifteen (15) signed baseballs from players that were active predominantly in the 1930's, 1940's, 1950's and 1960's. Fourteen of the balls are single signed with one ball being dual signed by Clay Bryant and Bill Werber. The balls are all Rawlings Official National League (William White) or American League (Bobby Brown).

The signed balls in this lot include Harry Brecheen, Harvey Haddix (pitched 12 perfect innings for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1959), Buddy Hassett, Tommy Holmes, Whitey Kurowski, Buddy Lewis, Dario Lodigiani, Mickey Owen (Dodgers catcher who dropped third strike in 1941 World Series), Bill Rigney, John Sain, Roy Sievers (Rookie of the Year 1949), Virgil Trucks (pitched two no hitters in 1952), Johnny Vander Meer (threw back to back no hitters in 1938), Harry Walker and the dual signed ball of players Clay Bryant and Bill Werber.

Our consignor is a long time author and interviewer of athletes; and obtained many of the autographs in person or via request through the mail. The remainder of his collection will be offered in this auction. BST Auctions has examined the autographs from this lot and it is our opinion that all are authentic.
