Carl Storck was one of the NFL's founders and was present for the "birth" of the NFL at the 1920 meeting in Canton, Ohio. Storck initially represented the Dayton Triangles franchise but became increasingly involved in league administration as secretary and vice president from 1921 to 1939 and then as league president from 1939 to 1941. The Storck autograph is an endorsement on a 1937 Philadelphia Eagles check (made out to the NFL) and is also signed by Pro Football Hall of Fame member Bert Bell (De Benneville "Bert" Bell), who would later be the commissioner of the NFL from 1945 to 1959. Both signatures have been authenticated by JSA and the check encapsulated by Beckett.
