Interesting lot of five early high school football programs; each possessing local charm and uniqueness. The following programs are included:

1923 (November 24th) Hartford versus New Britain. Hartford's Captain was John Smith who played for Rockne at Notre Dame and was a consensus All-American in 1927. He was later inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Great cover!

1923 (November 29th) Kansas City, Kansas versus Wichita. Incredible detail and biographies for such an early high school program.

1924 (November 27th) Steele vs. Stivers. Dayton, Ohio area schools; Stivers got the best of Steele (49-0) according to the spectator that scored the program. The Steele players were sporting some interesting bonnet style helmets.

1939 (November 17th) Portsmouth versus Ironton plus ticket stub. Fierce southern Ohio rivalry with a lot of football pride. Portsmouth had fielded a professional team earlier in the decade that nearly won the 1932 NFL Championship and later moved to Detroit and became the Lions.

1944 (November 28th) Red Lion High School (York County, Pennsylvania) Football Banquet program. Neat football shaped program.
