Pre-World War II NFL ticket stubs are relatively scarce; and examples of Pittsburgh Steelers stubs seem to be even more difficult. The Steelers (Pirates) were typically not a tremendous draw either away or at home. Offered here is a ticket stub from a September 7, 1941 game between the Cleveland Rams and the Pittsburgh Steelers played at a semi-neutral site (Rubber Bowl in Akron, Ohio about 30 miles south of Cleveland). The Rams won the game 17 to 14. The stub is very clean with just a light crease in the bottom border; great diagram of the stadium on the reverse.
