BST Auctions updates

It has been a busy month for BST Auctions...we have added more key items to a constantly growing group of consignments.  Some highlights include a near complete set of signed Goal Line Art cards,  a couple nice N173 Old Judge cabinets, a vintage football ticket collection, and a beautiful T207 collection.  Please contact us with any questions regarding consignment opportunities and/or being involved as a bidder in our auctions.

BST Auctions: Reflections on the National Sports Collectors Convention

BST Auctions secured a number of key consignments at the National including a vintage football attic find from Canton, Ohio, a beautiful double signed Clemente letter to the Pirates from 1956, a near complete T206 set, as well a several other key additions for our first auction.  We are excited about the response that we have received from collectors over the last month+ and feel that we could run a very strong auction at this moment.  However, we have almost six months to add to our consignment base and will continue to improve our first offering until the deadline.  Please check back to see some of the other items and new pieces as they are announced and/or uploaded.

BST Auctions blog July 21, 2014

Welcome to BST Auctions!  As a fellow collector and hobby enthusiast I understand specifically the enjoyment a collection can bring as a diversion to the more serious side of life.  As I sit and construct this blog, I am drawing upon 35 years worth of collecting experience.  My collecting during that time has evolved, waxed and waned, and in many cases paralleled my experiences in life.  So why collect?  The answer to that question is complicated and specific to the individual; but a common thread that ties most of us together is that collecting fulfills a need to connect.  Maybe it is a connection to another time in our life, sports teams or stars that we followed/follow, or perhaps some of us enjoy the social aspect of the hobby.  For me it is all of those and more.  The goal of BST Auctions is to provide the most positive hobby experience for both collectors and consignors and provide those connections not only by making vintage baseball, vintage football, and other sports and non-sports items available; but more importantly by offering fair, consistent, and friendly service.

Why consign to BST?

First, we have the highest cash advances in the industry guaranteed.  Why wait to get paid?

Second, our fee structure benefits you!  As bidding increases, our already competitive buyer’s fee decreases.  This results in stronger bids and a larger percentage of the sale going directly to consignors.  The buyer’s premium starts at 19.5% and decreases down to as low as 12.5%*!

Third, there are no seller’s fees for consignments.

Fourth, BST is pleased to introduce a new-to-the- industry online bidding system called the True Bid™ system, ensuring bidders that the value of any max bids will be known to them alone.

Consigned items will receive maximum exposure within the hobby via aggressive marketing through a multitude of advertising venues and with a printed catalog. Please register and join our mailing list.  Feel free to contact BST Auctions at 844-2BID-2WIN (844) 224-3294 to hear firsthand how our team can help you maximize the return on investment in your collectibles.    We look forward to serving you!
